Below please find a useful set of resources, forms and links for our members (or potential members) regarding services we offer. In several cases, there are forms that you will need to download, review and possibly fill out. If there are any questions, please contact us.
Mid-State Family Scholarship- The Mid-State Realtors Community Foundation is once again offering a Scholarship of up to $1000 for any graduating High School Senior, or student enrolled in an accredited college or university who is a child, grandchild or step child of a Member of the Mid-State Association. HOW TO FILE A COMPLAINT If you are interested in filing an ethics complaint or an arbitration request, please contact our Association Executive, Sue Pyzynski at Sue@midstaterealtors.com or you will find more information here.
MID-STATE CITATION POLICY The Association has established a Citation Policy, comprised of at least three (3) individuals, who will review complaints to determine eligibility for the citation program and the appropriate citations. The Citation Panel is a subset of the association’s Professional Standards Committee, and the individuals on the Citation Panel have a high level of experience in hearing professional standards cases. Complaints must be filed within one hundred eighty (180) days after the facts constituting the matter complained of could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence or within one hundred eighty (180) days after the conclusion of the transaction or event, whichever is later. LEGAL HOTLINE
The CT Association of REALTORS Information Hotline is designed for members to have direct access to a qualified attorney who can provide general information on real estate law, the REALTORS Code of Ethics and other related issues. The hours of operation are Monday -Friday, 9am-5pm. All calls will be returned in the order received. The attorneys will try to return all calls within 24-48 hours. (by the next business day.) SOUTHINGTON CARAVAN INFORMATION
TEMPORARILY ON HOLD….
The Mid-State Association holds a caravan in Southington on the first and third Thursday’s of the month beginning at 9:00am. Requests for caravan must be received by the Friday prior to the requested date and payment is required with the request. Submitters are responsible for verifying the order of the tour and are encouraged to attend all properties. CLICK HERE for the form to submit a property for the Southington Caravan. CT EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Continuing Education is due on the even-numbered renewal years and must be completed prior to renewing your license in all even-numbered years.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT IS THE LICENSEES OBLIGATION TO RETAIN ALL PRINTED CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION FOR A FOUR YEAR PERIOD, AND PROVIDE THEM TO THE DEPARTMENT, SHOULD YOU RECEIVE AN AUDIT LETTER FROM THE DCP.
Continuing Education Options: On-Line Courses are available
A. Complete 12 hours of CE Courses from an approved school. Only courses completed after March 31, 2020 for brokers, and May 31, 2020 for Salespersons will count toward the 2020 requirement (provided the courses were not already applied toward a previous year’s requirement). If you took the 2018 requirements late, you may NOT apply those courses again toward 2022. The courses shall consist of the following:
- TWO Three Hour 2022 mandatory courses- (both are required);
- Understanding Racial Bias in Real Estate
- Real Estate Law for Brokers and Sales Persons
- Six hours of Real Estate Elective Courses
The Two Mandatory Classes MUST be taken in Person or Live Virtual. NO ONLINE classes will be accepted.
B. Pass the 40 Question Connecticut Continuing Education Exam during the CE Cycle. Contact PSI Examination Services (the testing company) directly- 1-800-733-9267 or go to www.psiexams.com
Brokers – If you passed the Connecticut Broker full licensing examination between 4/1/2020 and 3/31/2022, you do not need to take the continuing education courses. (The date used is not the issuance date of your first license, it is the exam date.)
Salespersons – If you passed the Connecticut Salesperson full licensing examination between 6/1/2020 and 5/31/2022, you do not need to take the continuing education courses. (The date used is not the issuance date of your first license, it is the exam date.)

The Mid-State Association is proud to offer our members the newest Technology in Electronic Keys from SUPRA. The eKey uses your smart phone as your key.
Keys are available at the board office. Please call to set up an appointment to get your key.
Electronic Lockboxes are also available. We are offering the Supra IBOX to our members. Please call the board office to make arrangements to get your supply.
